Module 3: n8n Core Concepts

Chapter 7: n8n Interface Tour: Nodes, Canvas, and Panels

In this chapter, you'll learn about the n8n editor, including the canvas, the node panel, the input and output views that show your data, and the executions list.

In the previous chapter, you deployed n8n to a Linux server with Nginx and SSL, which completed Module 2 and gave you an n8n instance that stays running and can be accessed from the internet.

You are now beginning Module 3, which covers the basics you need before you start building anything substantial.

In this chapter, you will get familiar with the n8n editor, and the next chapters will cover triggers and actions, the HTTP Request node, expressions, the Code node, and scheduled runs.
