These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our Linux education platform, including our Sudo Plan (free) and Root Plan (paid subscription) services.

By accessing, browsing, or subscribing to our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.

1. Use of the Website

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe to Root Plan.
  • Users under 18 may access free Sudo Plan content with parental or guardian consent.
  • You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only and not to:
    • Share your account credentials with others
    • Copy, distribute, or resell course content
    • Use automated tools to scrape or download content
    • Interfere with the platform's operation or security
    • Engage in any activity that violates these Terms
  • All content is for personal, educational, non-commercial use only. Commercial use requires prior written authorization from [email protected].

2. Account and Data Access

Account Access:

  • Root Plan and Sudo Plan members can access their accounts, subscription details, and billing information anytime at the account portal.
  • To log in, enter your email address, and we'll send you a secure login link (passwordless authentication).

Account Deletion:

  • To delete your account and personal data, contact us at [email protected] with your request.
  • Upon deletion, all your personal information will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
  • Active subscriptions will be cancelled, and you will lose access to all Root Plan content immediately.
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription time.

3. Subscriptions and Access

  • Root Plan subscriptions provide full access to all 8 courses, certifications, and premium content for the duration of your subscription.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically via Stripe, where you'll receive an email reminder 7 days before renewal.
  • You can cancel anytime by logging into your account and clicking "Cancel Subscription". After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period, and your account then reverts to the free Sudo Plan.
  • All subscriptions are non-refundable due to instant access to digital content.

4. Payment Processing via Stripe

By using our services and making payments through Stripe, you agree to the following:

  • Secure Processing: All transactions are securely handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, where we do not store or access your credit card details.
  • Authorized Transactions: You must provide accurate and valid payment information. Unauthorized use of payment methods is prohibited.
  • Refunds & Disputes: All subscriptions are non-refundable due to instant access to digital content, but you may cancel anytime to avoid future charges.
  • Security & Compliance: Stripe complies with industry-standard security protocols (PCI DSS Level 1) to protect your payment information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • Third-Party Liability: We are not responsible for issues arising from Stripe's platform, including payment delays, processing errors, or service interruptions.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time.

If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice.

Continued use of Root Plan services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
