Module 16: Beyond SSH

Chapter 54: Advanced SSH Use Cases and Continued Learning

In this final chapter, you'll explore advanced SSH use cases, performance benchmarking, air-gapped environments, SSH RFCs, and the best resources for deepening your SSH mastery.

In the previous chapter, you learned how Mosh and Eternal Terminal solve SSH's biggest weakness on unreliable networks, how to combine them with tmux for maximum session resilience, and how tools like sshuttle, Cowrie, and mobile SSH clients fill specific gaps in the SSH ecosystem. That completed Module 16.

This is Chapter 54, the final chapter of the SSH Complete Course.

Over the past 53 chapters, you have progressed from understanding the basics of SSH to building and managing enterprise-grade Zero Trust infrastructure using certificate authorities, session recording, and BeyondCorp security patterns.

Along the way, you learned about authentication, configuration, security hardening, file transfers, port forwarding and tunneling, automation, containers, cloud infrastructure, multi-factor authentication (MFA), troubleshooting, logging, auditing, and compliance.

In this final chapter, we'll explore a few advanced use cases that didn't fit neatly into the earlier modules and discuss where to go next after completing this course.
